Yep, he’s back. Now more clearly a new member of the woodchuck family that’s been shacking up under the shack.

ETA: 14:43 Yep, he IS a groun’chunk. I just discovered another family living under the concrete slab that is the entrance to one of the buildings at work. Momma and two just-out-of-the-den babies. They let me get quite close before she “grunted” them back into the den. The babies didn’t pay much attention

I’m getting a LOAD of motion detector email alerts today: the rain drizzling down the window is setting off the motion detecting software. Lots to sort through tonight.
The Tuesday List
I used to post more content-full articles, back in the ‘ought days. Trying to get back to that level of text output, I’ve decided to re-introduce my Tuesday List, which usually has the format of a list and a proposed addition to it. There are several yea or nay reasons for adding Aretha to this list, but on the whole I think “yea” for adding the “Queen of Soul” her bluesey and fine jazz singing. What do you think?
